Lindsay Allen wins Mathile Institute Award for Career Achievement in Evidence Translation

The Micronutrient Forum Mathile Institute Award for Career Achievement in Evidence Translation was awarded to Dr. Lindsay Allen, USDA-ARS Director of the Western Human Nutrition Research Center (WHNRC) and Research Professor at UC Davis. The award was presented at the Micronutrient Forum global conference in Cancun, Mexico, 24 – 28 October 2016.

This award recognized Dr. Allen as a senior career individual who has made a substantial contribution to the translation of evidence for policy making and program development in nutrition, with particular focus on micronutrients. This award is designed to recognize the career achievements of a senior scientist, policy maker or program implementer who has made a substantial contribution to the translation and utilization of evidence for policy making and/or program development.
