Master of Advanced Study in Maternal & Child Nutrition

Build expertise to improve nutrition and health for mothers and children.

Designed for working professionals, this part-time program provides scientific training in maternal, infant and child nutrition and can be part of the pathway to registered dietitian nutritionist or lactation consultant credentials.

MS & PhD in Nutritional Biology

Conduct research at the intersection of nutrition, biology, and human health.

Through the Graduate Group in Nutritional Biology, students can pursue an MS or PhD while working with over 50 faculty across multiple departments, colleges and  professional schools. Research spans areas from nutritional biochemistry and metabolism to maternal and child nutrition, chronic disease, community nutrition and nutrition policy.

Designated Emphasis in Global Nutrition

Take a multidisciplinary approach to nutrition challenges around the world.

PhD students can add specialized training in global nutrition, epidemiology and biostatistics, and social and behavioral sciences while conducting research addressing nutrition challenges among disadvantaged and lower-income populations.
