Research Interests

Dr. Davis' research focuses on the interaction of dietary constituents (macronutrients and nonnutritional components) with processes/risk factors for chronic human diseases (i.e. coronary vascular disease and cancer). He also studies the effects of dietary fiber and other components (dietary lipids particularly) on control of food intake and processes of nutrient absorption and packaging/secretion in the gastrointestinal tract.
