Individuals are being recruited for a study on developing an adherence marker compound for tracking consumption of nutrient supplements.
Interested individuals will be prescreened by phone using a prescreening questionnaire; those who may be eligible will be scheduled for an in-person screening visit at the Ragle Human Nutrition Center on the UC-Davis campus. Eligible participants will be enrolled in the study for 15 consecutive days.
Participation involves eating a nutrient supplement that contains two adherence marker compounds daily for 10 days and collecting urine samples on 6 days over the course of the study. The adherence marker compounds are an FDA-approved food additive and a naturally occurring compound in grapes.
