Admission and Fellowship Opportunities

Prospective students of the PIN must be admitted into one of the existing graduate groups at UC Davis. The graduate programs that currently participate in the Designated Emphasis in International Nutrition are:

Information regarding admission to these programs can be obtained by writing to the Office of Graduate Admissions, 250 Mrak Hall, 1 Shields Avenue, Davis, CA 95616. PIN students will be expected to fulfill the usual course requirements for the Ph.D. degree of the program to which they are accepted, and will also be required to complete a set of core courses directly related to international and community nutrition. Admission is for the Fall quarter only. The deadline for receipt of applications is April 1 for U.S. students, March 1 for international students.

A limited number of fellowships are available to new doctoral students with excellent academic credentials through the PIN or its affiliated graduate programs. Application forms can be obtained from the Director, Program in International and Community Nutrition, Department of Nutrition, University of California, Davis, California 95616 U.S.A. Fellowship applications are due by January 15.
